The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Dixon can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Barb and family; I'm so sorry for your loss. While our lives have taken us down different paths, our friendship never strayed. Whenever I bumped into Dave we'd pick up right where we left off. Over a beer, our conversation would invariably lead to one specific situation/memory. He'd never let me forget about our days playing football at Crocus, and dropping (what he described as a 'perfect pass') for a big play. I'd always tell him the ball was under thrown. He wouldn't say a thing, just smile. But when I saw that twinkle in his eye... I that's all I needed. That's what will always stay with me, his bigger-than-life smile & endearing & loyal friendship. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
