The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Dixon can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Barb, Meagan and Jen: we were saddened to here of Dave's passing. He was such a friendly guy with a big smile. We remember him as a tireless cheerleader at racquetball tournaments, sometimes pacing the hall during a close match. At Junior Worlds he learned to count to 15 in Spanish (or maybe it was from watching Dora with the girls)! He was a dedicated chaperone at tournaments, always ensuring all the kids were in their rooms at night before cracking a beer and sharing stories of the day. He will be missed. Our thought are with you all at this difficult time.

Condolence From: Gord, Heather Leclerc and family
Condolence: Barb and family;

I'm so sorry for your loss. While our lives have taken us down different paths, our friendship never strayed. Whenever I bumped into Dave we'd pick up right where we left off. Over a beer, our conversation would invariably lead to one specific situation/memory. He'd never let me forget about our days playing football at Crocus, and dropping (what he described as a 'perfect pass') for a big play. I'd always tell him the ball was under thrown. He wouldn't say a thing, just smile. But when I saw that twinkle in his eye... I that's all I needed. That's what will always stay with me, his bigger-than-life smile & endearing & loyal friendship.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
