Reception and Catering Services - Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre

One of the many services that sets Memories Chapel apart in Brandon is the ability to host post funeral receptions or memorial gatherings, or come and go receptions on site in a single level facility.

The funeral reception offers family and friends an opportunity to share refreshments, fellowship, exchange stories, express personal sympathies and share in a time of social interaction. The participation by family and friends can be a great source of comfort to those who are bereaved.

Memories Chapel can organize a reception in our wonderful reception room, for families in their homes, as well as in reception halls within our community.  Receptions may be structured in a sit down or casual setting for large or small gatherings.  While dealing with the loss of a loved one is an emotional time for the family, Memories Chapel is able to make your arrangements for the reception.

In addition to our main reception area, we have a comfortable visiting area decorated with comfortable furniture, antiques, and a gas fireplace allowing friends and family a quiet intimate place to gather or visit.

Our menu includes a variety of items including Sandwiches, Loaves & Muffins, Cheese & Cracker Trays, Fruit Bread, Cinnamon Bread, Fruit & Veggie Trays, Cold Sausage, Cheese, Pickles, Dainties, Cookies, Coffee, Tea and Cold Beverage. If you have special dietary needs, due to allergies or intolerances, please advise us so we can accommodate those needs.

Our modern kitchen is available to our catering service to arrange and serve your selected menu, promptly and efficiently. Should you desire an item not on our regular menu, let us know and we can arrange with our caterer to have the item you need.  In addition to hot meals, we have served special desserts such as strawberry shortcake and even birthday cake.
