THIESSEN: Agnes, age 94 years, beloved wife of the late John Thiessen, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on. Agnes will be lovingly remembered by her children Bill (Debbie), Marg (Ron, deceased) Rempel, Ken (Irmgard), Larry (Lavina), Marvin (Rhonda) and Marianne Thiessen and their families. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the Oak Lake Mennonite Church, 200 Ox Cart Trail East, Oak Lake, Manitoba on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with viewing prior to the service. A reception will follow the service at the Oak Lake Community Centre, 438 N. Railway St. West. Agnes will then be laid to rest beside her husband at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire donations in memory of Agnes may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9.
