Obituary for James "Gordon" Ross

James "Gordon"  Ross
James Gordon Ross passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in Edmonton. Born January 22, 1944 in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Gordon was raised by his grandparents. He attended Chater Elementary School from grades 1 through 8 and later attended Douglas Junior High. Gord worked around the Chater area and eventually enrolled in the Navy. Gord enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodwork, making clocks, jewelry, boats and shelves for family. Gord was survived by his mother Florence Dennis; and by three sons Don, Brad and Greg; one daughter Angela and brother Clifford John. He was predeceased by his father and brothers Calvin John and William John. The Ceremony to Celebrate the Lives of Florence Dennis and Gordon Ross took place at Memories Chapel on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. They were laid to rest at the Alexander Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 9 Princess Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 1R8 or to Diabetes Canada, Unit A1-800 Rosser Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 6N5.
