Obituary for Lenard "Len" Brown

Lenard "Len" Brown
Lenard Brown passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at his home in Brandon, Manitoba. Len, son of William and Elsie Brown, was born in 1942 in Stonewall, Manitoba, where he spent his childhood on the family farm with his five siblings—Lois, Shirley, and Al (deceased), and his surviving younger brothers Ron (Sheila) and Bill (Charlene). Len moved to Winnipeg to begin his life-long career as a salesman—a job he took pride in and enjoyed his whole life. Loving husband to Linda, the two moved to Brandon in 1997 for Len's work, where they enjoyed many wonderful years at the cottage with family and good friends. He will be greatly missed by children Candace (Mike), Craig (Simone), Darla, and Melanie; grandchildren Brett, Karlee, Ellison, Becca and Ben; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a Come and Go Celebration of Len's Life at the Trails West Inn - Conference Room, 210 18th St. North, Brandon, Manitoba on Saturday, March 11, 2017 between 2-5p.m. Donations in memory of Len may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 2W8.
