The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Neil MacLellan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Joan and family. I cant tell how hard it has been for me to come to the realization that Joe has passed. He was truly one of the best. He and I shared many a laugh and i will miss him at the next reunion and reunions to come in the future. I had a heavy heart today and so wish i could have been there for the service. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. I will miss Joe as will many more, he was one of a kind.

Condolence From: James Selbie
Condolence: Dear Joan and Family,
I had the good fortune of meeting Joe upon my arrival in 3 RCHA as a newly commissioned officer in 1978. Especially memorable is our service together in U Battery in Cyprus in 1979-80. He was a "good man and true" - eminently approachable and always generous with his common sense advice and support. His stoicism and sense of humour were examples for us all and contributed hugely to making it a great battery in which to serve. I offer heartfelt condolences both personal and on behalf of all members of The Royal Regiment. May the knowledge that so many of us thought so highly of Joe be a source of solace for you at this trying time.
"Very Good Shooting Joe. End of Mission. Stand Easy."
Most Respectfully,
Brigadier-General (Ret'd) Jim Selbie
Colonel Commandant RCA
