Margaret Ann "Marg"  Bell (Hall)
Margaret Ann "Marg" Bell (nee Hall), of Brandon, formerly of Alexander, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Born July 19, 1947 in Port Hope, Ontario, the second oldest of six children, Marg grew up participating in her church and youth group activities and later attended Bible School. During her lifetime Marg worked as a secretary, a cook, in sales, at a nursing home, and as a childcare provider. She was a leader in 4H, a founding member of TOPS and served in BG Clubs children's ministries. Marg loved to play scrabble, knit, curl, paint, read and garden. Marg will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Sarah (Shane) McLeod of Rivers, MB and their children Riley, Randy, and Jordan; Becky (Jon) Reid of Wawanesa, MB and their children Caitlin and Matthew; Rachel (Dirk) van der Woude of Fargo, ND and their children Kaleb, Greysen, and Emmy; and Katie (Jesse) Thom of Goodlands, MB and their children Marli and Jack; and foster son Len Pashe. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Bell, her parents Joe and Lillie Hall; sister Muriel Jackson and foster son Reg Pashe. The Funeral Service was held at Bethel Christian Assembly on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Phil Price officiating. Pallbearers were Shane McLeod, Jon Reid, Dirk van der Woude, Jesse Thom, Riley McLeod, Randy McLeod and Matthew Reid. Interment followed at Alexander Cemetery. Donations in memory of Marg may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #3 - 2430 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, R7B 0M5 or to the Gideons, P.O. Box 3619, Guelph, Ontario, N1H 7A2.
