James was the very first true friend that welcomed me to Rivers after the tragic loss of my husband and two children. He was my neighbor and cribbage teacher for 6 years until I had to leave Rivers for better things. I still remember when he used to deliver papers with his wagon and dog, the care he took to make sure that every paper got delivered on time everyday. I even went on a few walks with him when he used to go collecting beer cans on the sides of the road while walking his dog.
To his family, my deepest condolences and sympathies. James was a very special and sweet man and it was a privilege that I was able to have known him as a friend and fellow legion member.
Rest in Paradise James you will never be forgotten.
