Condolence: last talked with JAKE mid summer- YES we talked Draft Horses - especially Percherons. Jake was a great folower of my late parents Wib and Marg Strain at Summer Fair,Jake and his buddy Al continued as our children hit the show circuits. Last fair
Isaw him at was Minnidosa.
JAKE always discussed how he thought - maybe- his grandson would get a team.
I enjoyed many conversations with him over the phone. Many of or later talks about the World Percheron show to be held in Brandon 2022- and that we hoped we'd be here to attend. We here will miss him too !
Our sympathies-

Condolence From: Gary and Vonda
Condolence: Dear Harder Family, The world has lost a treasure. We will always remember Jake and his wonderful stories! He and Erica were great neighbours. The Harders and the Cranswicks lived near each other for many decades, and often shared the same joys and sorrows. Our Girls had respect for and fun with Jake while he drove the school bus. Time passes and communities lose their older people. Thankfully Erica and Jake have left the Moore Park community with wonder children to carry on in their place. Our most sincere sympathy, Gary and Vonda

Condolence From: Dennis & Hazel Nevin
Condolence: Our sincere condolences to the Harder family. Jake & his family were one of the warmest caring families, that we ever had the pleasure of knowing in the district of Moore Park, and we were lucky enough to live a mile down a dirt road from them in the 50's. We would always pile into the back of Jake's 1949 Plymouth in July & he would take us to Bible school every year. With his land bordering our farm we would witness him sowing the crop, haying, and harvesting in the fall. WE believe one of His favorite pastimes was hitching up a team of horses, many whom he personally trained & he loved giving sleigh rides to his friends & family. His recollections of events from his past were interesting & humorous, to say the least. He will be sadly missed by those of us who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Sincerely,
The Nevin Family fr Moore Park/Justice
