Sadly, the family announces the sudden passing of David William Allan Burton on Friday, July 5, 2019 surrounded by friends. David was born in Brandon on January 20, 1953 to Ed and Shirley Burton. He lived in CFB Rivers, Manitoba; Zoest, Germany; and Brandon, Manitoba. David loved music, playing guitar and listening to and collecting records. His favourite was The Beatles. He also loved watching and collecting movies. His favourite past time was spending time at the mall having coffee with all of his friends at Smitty's. David was predeceased by his parents Ed and Shirley Burton. He is survived by his sister Sharon and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A gathering of David's family and friends will take place on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Smitty's Restaurant in the Brandon Shopper's Mall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 - 17th Street East, Brandon, MB R7A 7M6.
