Obituary for Chelsey Jeannell Bebbington

Chelsey Jeannell Bebbington
BEBBINGTON: Suddenly and unexpectedly on October 6, 2018, our beloved youngest daughter, Chelsey Jeannell (Venn) Bebbington, tragically passed away. Chelsey left behind her Dad and Mom (David and Fran Bebbington), her three sisters, Michelle Jacobson (Lane and Noah), Chantelle Bartsch (Adam), and Sheila Marlow, as well as her thirteen baby budgies (her “children”). Also left to mourn are her husband Trevor Venn and family, very special friend Matt Sokolowski and family and childhood friend Shawn Arksey and family, as well as many relatives and friends. Chelsey attended Forrest Elementary School till the end of Grade 8, happily tippy-toeing down the corridors in her younger years. She graduated from Vincent Massey High School and later attended Brandon University and Robertson College where she earned her Pharmacy Technician Diploma with honours. Her greatest dream was to become a Pharmacist but her career was sidetracked due to her many health issues, especially lupus and seizures. Despite these obstacles, Chelsey struggled to remain optimistic. Chelsey had always enjoyed sports, winning the Rolling River Badminton Singles Tournament, playing JV Volleyball at Massey and Varsity soccer with her Dad as coach. She also enjoyed learning to speak Japanese and playing Pokemon Go with her two nephews. Chelsey’s artwork, especially her fantasy figures, were her greatest pastime. Her video walk-throughs of on-line games attracted a great following and many online friends around the world. She was a kind and gentle soul who showed much empathy for anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on or someone to talk to. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 am with Mike Waddell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Lupus Canada, 211-590 Alden Road, Markham Ontario, L3R 8N2 or online https://www.lupuscanada.org/giving-tuesday/, or the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3.
