The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Victor White can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Like so many fellow Gunners across the country, I consider it a rare privilege to have served with CWO White. He was BSM U Battery in 1978 when I arrived in the battery as a new subaltern not long before we deployed to Cyprus. What a man! What charisma! I shall always be grateful for his guidance, example and unsurpassed sense of humour. He held the profound respect and heartfelt affection of us all. On behalf of the RCA Regimental Family, I extend our deepest condolences to the White Family. "End of Mission RSM. Excellent Shooting. Stand Easy." BGen (Ret'd) J.J. Selbie Colonel Commandant

Condolence: As a young officer just off Phase 4 in Gagetown, I was posted to 3RCHA in Shilo and started my career with The Guns. Vic was the Tech Sgt and I remember several occasions after I had completed a recce or brought the guns into position Vic would wait for me to wrap up and say, "Let's take a walk, Sir." That was when he would quietly guide me through steps that would let me do it better, the next time. Vic was a great leader and mentor to all who served with him. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family.
