Condolence From: Jasper Henderson
Condolence:
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Frances. As family you already know what a fantastic woman she was. I hope all the great memories and pictures help ease the pain.
Frances was a one of a kind lady. She was known for drinking her coke every day, eating candy, and no vegetables. If you gave her 50 options of flavors of ice cream she would always pick plain old vanilla. She came to almost all the programs offered. Her famous sayings were; “do what the do dads do” or “smile, you’re on candy camera.” She was always up for coming to anything except church and crafts activities. She would always say, “I am too old for that, I already did all that.” Or “No use sitting here doing nothing, might as well come with you”.
Each morning at exercise she would always sing the same song when we did heel to toe exercises. “Heel toe and away we go, where to we do not know.” I loved her stories and how easy going her personality was. She would always share that she was Frances Anderson; with no middle name. She didn’t know why her parents did it, but she didn’t have one. She had a good singing voice even to the end and would constantly sing You Are My Sunshine when at the elevator. She was so fun to be around, you couldn’t help but smile.
I already can notice the absence of her warm personality and her company on the floor. Strawberry jam and toast will remind me of her cause gosh she had it for breakfast everyday it seemed like. She preferred white cookies over chocolate and never would refuse baking. She played bingo every week and would always have the number 75 in the corner.
I have so many fond memories of Frances and will continue to share her spirit and spunk in memory of her.
Much love,
Jasper Henderson, Recreation
