Obituary for Brian Yarish

Brian Yarish
With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Brian Michael Yarish. Brian went to heaven on September 22, 2016. It gives us great comfort to know Brian will be with his Grandpa Yarish and Uncles Paul and Doug Yarish, likely with a slight smile on his face listening to the many stories they are sharing. Brian was born July 16, 1980 in Brandon, Manitoba. Growing up Brian was very passionate about sports. He enjoyed playing baseball, football and golf; his favorite teams were the Toronto Blue Jays and Minnesota Vikings. He attended Riverview Elementary School, King George Middle School and graduated from Crocus Plains Regional Secondary in 2000. Brian went on to study Science at Brandon University and his most memorable job was working for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics in Whistler, BC. Brian had a close relationship with his family - he was the first grandchild to both sets of grandparents. Some of his fondest memories he shared with each of us were his long lunches and talks with Grandpa Yarish, his summers spent in Dauphin helping Grampa Ross on his Gelco route and working with Grandma Ross in her store. Brian especially loved his latest trip to Vancouver this past summer to spend time with his brother. Those are memories that will be cherished forever. Brian is survived by his father Brad, mother Wendy (Bill), brother Brett (Jeanette), grandma Ruby Yarish, grandparents John and Delores Ross as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Brian’s memory will be cherished by all that knew him. His quiet demeanor, un-judging character, willingness to always help others and the beautiful person he was will be remembered forever.
A private family ceremony to celebrate Brian's life was held at Memories Chapel on Friday September 30th 2016. Mike Waddell officiated. Eulogy was given by his Aunt Leanne. Donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #3 - 2430 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba R7B 0M5.

“When someone you love passes, you never quite get over it
You slowly learn how to manage the pain and sadness
By always keeping them tucked safely in your heart.”

Brian we love you.
