Obituary for Bradley John Unger

UNGER: The death of Bradley John Unger occurred suddenly while on a vacation in Costa Rica on Friday, February 25, 2000. Brad was born on October 27, 1960 in Carman, Manitoba. He leaves to mourn, his wife Shawnda; his son Dallas and his daughter Darci. His parents Helen and John Unger; 3 sisters: Janice (Mark) Rankmore and daughter Stephanie, Joanne (Brian) Mackie and two sons Brain Lee (Patrena) and Shawn (daughter Calista), Carol (Mark) Kindrat and their children Tryna and Joshua, all residents of Brandon. Also left to mourn his passing brothers-in-law: Ian (Beth) MacKay and their son Craig (daughter Kaelyn) of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Bruce (Jackie) MacKay and their son Bob and daughter Kylee (fiancee Doug) of Brandon; and sister-in-law Bonnie MacKay of Brandon; special cousin Garry (Rhonda) and children Kasia, Jael, and Nathan. There are numerous friends and relatives. A time of visitation for friends was held at Memories Chapel on Friday, March 3, 2000. The ceremony to celebrate Brad's life was held at Central United Church on Saturday, March 4, 2000. Rev. Gordon Stevenson officiated. Interment was in the Brandon Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Brad may be made to the Brad Unger Fund, c/o Janice Rankmore, 1021 Patricia Ave., Brandon, MB, R7A 7K8.
